Go binary installation failure in Netlify Builds

Since December 13, 2022 14:30 UTC, we're seeing errors while installing Go in our build systems across all tiers. This has caused build errors for users trying to rely on Go binaries in their builds, for example, some Hugo builds, or Netlify Functions using Go. Previously deployed sites were not affected. This has been resolved as of December 17 18:28 UTC.

Users that use Go, either the default Go version and created their site on or after November 22, 2022 11:14:34 UTC or manually set their Go version to 1.19.x either via the environment variable GO_VERSION or the file .go-version, were affected.
